The video has taken in teh 1990s in Chicago's now torn down Rockwell Gardens. Ivory Dillard leads a documentary maker on a remarkable tour of the projects and shows the real problems west side youth faced. The dangers of gang and drug violence are still present, though Rockwell Gardents is gone. Ivory's stirring plea for a youth center and a way to divert west side youth from violence is a reminder of the power of street knowledge and the possibilities of redirecting gang youth from a life of violence.
